Yamhill County Inmate Search & Jail Records
There are two detention facilities in Yamhill County: the Yamhill County Correctional Facility, where adult inmates are housed, and a detention facility for youths overseen by the Youth Service Center.
The Correctional Facility is operated by the Corrections Division of the Sheriff's Office. The records of inmates held in either facility are also maintained by both facilities. Inmate records are created along with the booking records and arrest records. The records may also be updated in the course of the case to reflect accurate information.
The Sheriff's Office provides a database that allows members of the public to review booking details. These details, although they provide some insight into who is in detention, when they were arrested, and why, do not provide full inmate information and do not include a mugshot. Under HB3273 (2021), the photograph of a suspect is not a matter of public record until a conviction. Members of the public may peruse the database if what they need is basic inmate information. However, for a comprehensive inmate record, inquirers will need to contact the Sheriff's Office in person or by mail.
Yamhill County juvenile inmate records are confidential and can only be retrieved by authorized entities.
